  17. What is QuickMovie?

  19. QuickMovie is an application to create QuickTime movies out of a series of images. You can create fixed sized movies or have the size of the movie reflect the size of the largest image in the series. You can optionally scale images to the movie size, specify how many images are displayed per second, and choose from any available QuickTime compression method. QuickMovie supports every image format supported by QuickTime which includes JPEG, GIF, Photoshop, PICT, and many others.

  23. QuickMovie should run on any Macintosh running System 7 or greater with QuickTime 3.0 or later installed. QuickMovie is fully compatible with MacOS 8 and 8.1.

  27. To create a movie:

  29. Launch QuickMovie.
  30. Add images by dragging them into the QuickMovie image list or clicking the "Add Image…" button.
  31. Change the options to suit your needs (change the movie width or height, compression type, etc...).
  32. Click the "Create Movie…" button.

  40. Yes, please do! You may distribute this application anyway you want as long as you include the full package and do not charge for it. Reasonable media and distribution costs excluded. I want as many people to get this as possible.

  44. QuickMovie was written in C++ using CodeWarrior and PowerPlant. Resources were created and edited with Constructor and Resorcerer.
